This week at the shabby tea room the challenge involves beautiful colors and the comforts of home mmm...
since i am a quilter at heart this card is made out of fabrics and paper and fun stuff....
i just love these beach house fabrics.....

I have been wanting to make bracelets for some time now but just have not got around to giving it a try this is my first attempt at a carm bracelet it was lots of fun and now im in the mood to try more!!
i love the old earrings on this anything thats sparkly gets my attention!!
i like the silver and white combination also
i love twisting the wire its so awesome to start with a plain strand of wire and create something pretty
this is a silver neclace i just love the old snowflake broaches they are soooo pretty....
isnt the snowflake awesome...

hi I have been working on this journal for sometime now and realized it was cupcakes!! so i thought i would share it with the citycrafter challenge my pictures are not so great my camera broke last nite so im back to my phone!!
sorry it is so grainy
i wish the pics came out better this is really pretty i used the new melissa francis mica chips on it they look like frosting they are sooo pretty

While driving in town i came across some absolutely beautiful weeping cherries......
they look extremely old and are so spectacular....
so beautiful.....
while taking pictures the owner of the shoppe came out to chat, she was so sweet, she also told me about the festivities in town tomorrow we are having a mardi gra parade on beekman street, which is saratogas new art center i can't wait to go hope the weather hold....
the shoppe is located in a very old trainstation on the west side, horses used to be brought into saratoga here and were walked parade like to the track on the east side...
saratoga is rich with history and seems to be changing in the most positive ways, i love living here its one of the most beautiful spots in upstate new york

Just thought i would do one more card for the shabbytea room challenge this week! here we go...
I just love pinks and this is hot pink and soft pink all mixed up!!!
this is all hand sewn with many layers of trim on the sides i used pink tissue, vintage lace, ric rac, vintage seam bindings and a vintage earring
the papers are by fancy pants i just love the colors!!

Today turned out to be another spectacular beauty laden day in upstate New York, it seems that overnight trees bloomed, I could not help taking a few shots to share....
This paw paw bush is at my boyfriends home, the color of the blossoms always awes me....
I love the salmon color
I also love his weeping cherry
the sky is just soooo blue.....
the blossoms are so dainty they remind me of paper.....
the color is so faint its just so fresh and renewing.....
i feel renewed and inspired with everyday beauty that often we miss in our hurry to do "life".... and all it requires of us.....
I can't wait to take more shots with my good camera and not my phone!!!!
hope you can enjoy some simple pleasures, they are around us always we just need to notice...

A new challenge I absolutely love this sketch, I hope the shabby tea room likes my attempt!!
I absolutely adore these chip pieces by Maya Road they are awesome!!
for this card i used paper by fancy pants, mary francis and best occasions, die cuts are from k and company ribbon is vintage seam binding, i just love the cherry on top!!
so much fun i love the sketch and my sweet tooth is fullfilled for the week!!

This weeks challenge was fun I love working with squares i love quilting and used all fabric on the card, the fabric is by robyn pandolph for rjr i absolutely love it its called beach house! i hope the shabby tearoom likes my attempt!!I also used some vintage lace and a handmade tag, i also did all the writing i really love working on these cards its sooooo much fun

i hope you like it ! there is a 4 patch with a square on top surrounded by 2 lace squares!! so much fun!
