Bead Swap fun

I am so excited to be in Cassandras bead swap, yesturday after church i went bead shopping at this little extra ordinary bead store we have here in Saratoga I found some wonderful additions to my box of treats for each of my friends, but of course i had to get some things for myself and i decided since I love charm bracelets I would make one out of only beads as charms and in pink and white of course and I am absolutely loving the way it turned out but its only the beginnning i have my mind set on a black and white one now with checkered ribbon and a paris theme!!

o it never ends does it!!!! 


bead friends please let me know if any of these beads strikes your fancy so i can include them in your package and ribbons tooo!!!! I'm so excited I can hardly wait for this swap there are so many new treasures to be found and i am holding my breath waiting to see what comes my way i'm sure it will be beautiful and loved.......

My Magical World

I just wanted to share some pictures of where I create I wish I had a more private space but since my dining room isn' really used for dining i moved all my stuff in here and have found it to be my safe haven
I absolutely love my table it was my grandmas and i painted the legs black(wishing it was white now)but it  is a great work surface nice and big

I love this piano lamp it helpswith close up work it used to be brass but i love it white

A fun way to display

For some time now I have had this idea to use hangers as a display tool but not just a plain hanger mind you it has to be altered just a bit to look really pretty!!

This is just a plain old mens pant hanger(that I borrowed from my boyfriend), utoh when he finds out!!!xoxo

Of course I painted it a shabby white and then began it's transformation into something fun and beautiful, I just love the way it turned out hope you like it as well. I will probably make it into a kit for etsy and available to buy as is!!
I also added these cute flower cards to enhance it's functionality

On the inside of the hanger I added fabrics and trim so it grips the cards tightly you can't really see the fabric but it is pink and very shabby!!!

Summer Fun

 Just thought I would enter another card in the summer fum challenge at theshabbytearoom I couldn't resist this paper is soooo pretty.....
I loved doing the hand sewing on this it's definitely giving more ideas!! I also tried making my own flowers with the paper and i just love the way it turned out!!

 
  I hope you can see the dimensionality of the flower I sprayed the paper with glimmer mist to make it pliable and then scrunched it together, sewing the button on with green embroidery floss to keep the flower in place......
