Upon losing the most important man in my life.................
When i lost my dad it was an absolutely heart wrenching experience..... one i was not ready for in any respect or manner, it came totally as a shock, a wave of pain that still encompasses me as i write this. He was the most loving, caring, family oriented man............. there was nothing more he wanted from life than to spend time with his family, which he did........... and love us and take care of us, which he did also............. and it didn't stop as we got older he was always there to listen or just be............. that guiding light that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, just knowing it's mere existence..............
In his memory I have created art pieces that helped ease the pain of the loss i feel ..............they help me ease through the days with renewed HOPE and a sense of knowing he is still with me.............. each and every day, i can still see his beautiful blue eyes, his gentle hands, and his all encompassing love.............
This paticular project is tag art that portrays hope, hope for the future, the present, and preserving the memories of the past...........

I Love you Dad always........................ xoxoxox lizzie..............................................
As so often, a journey into the unknown had revealed more about the traveller's home than about the destination.

This is just beautiful, Lizzi! I can see and feel the love you've poured into this lovely framed piece. I adore the hope tags and the fabric and stitching. Thanks for sharing it with us at TSTR.
