While visiting pink paislee yesturday i noticed they had some really great shaped cards with a tutorial on how to make them, since i have no shaped cutouts i thought i would try my own version of a shaped card... this is a tiny 4x4 card, the flower shape is handcut(i like the free form it gives to the flower!), the flower is one of my very own idea's i'm calling the batting flower!, it is simply quilt batting layered with papers and topped off with a vintage button and some wonderful embroidery floss!! easy and great... i hope you give these a try they are fun and can be made with any colors of the rainbow,(i tend to always lean towards pastels but any colors will do!!) i will show you how to do at the end, easy easy....
the card is tiny but filled with emotion...
these are all the supplies needed to make the flowers, batting, patterned paper cut with scissors, flower shapes (if you have them),embroidery floss, a needle and a vintage button.... simply cut and stack and sew... your done...

easy and wonderful!! if you give these a try please let me know i would love to see your work... these would be wonderful on scrapbook pages as well.... happy crafting....
