I truly cannot believe it is the end of july already wow... this week at sugar creek hollow we are celebrating 'christmas' in July!!! what fun...we were given an absolutely wonderful digital image from Sassy Cheryl's an online digi stamp company...mine was this tooo cute snowman that seemed to lend himself to a fun retro-vintage card...i hope you enjoy and hop on over to see all the wonderful design work the team has done...they truly are an amazing group of ladies with unending talent...
I handpainted my image with watercolors i love the way they turned out and very very easy....

need i say more....my all time favorite color...pink..there is something so soothing, so fresh and so new about pink...everytime i use pink it's a new beginning...a whole new creative adventure is at my fingertips...when i first saw these paper's by my minds eye i just fell in love...they are so gorgeous and soft and shabby, if you haven't seen these yet check them out they are wonderful...the line is called follow your heart...paired with some melissa francis trim and there you go shabby goodness...hope you enjoy...

This week at sugar creek hollow, the challenge is all about sports... I found this wonderful vintage sports image on the internet and just fell in love with it...since i just received 'cakewalk' from october afternoon i thought i would try out some of their wonderful vintage inspired papers for this challenge...I absolutely love the plaid paper in the background and the red numbered one is awesome too...hope you enjoy...

summer days...

Wow...It's the 4th of July already I cannot believe how fast this summer is going by....Happy 4th of July to you all...

This week at sugar creek hollow the challenge is all about 'summer days' what a wonderful and fitting challenge for this week...I don't know about you but since we have such a short summer season here in upstate new york i try to be outside as much as possible, be it swimming, tanning, gardening or just enjoying the sunshine the weather has been amazing... just wishing there was more time in the day to enjoy all of summer's beauty...this challenge was so much fun...summer days remind me of red, white and blue with lots of laughter and children playing with pinwheels and reveling in the moment.. so my card this week is all about pinwheels... this paper by simple stories is just amazing...from the vintage shabby look it works wonderfully with this challenge...
