These little wine bottle cards are gifts to my brothers... I have never made these before and they truly were such fun... the images were painted a while ago and i just love the way these turned out do give it a go!!!

Hello everyone...so happy to be back with my second card as a midway reminder for the It's a magnolia challenge...we are at challenge 47 and it is to make a christmas card...i have been doing nothing but cards as my cards are going one by one this year!!!! This is an Edwin stamp from the magnolia stamp club (my first time receiving these) i absolutely fell in love with this stamp...he is just such a cute Santa... love love love this....

This card uses mme christmas papers and lots of distressing with inks...crackle paint...and rippping...the trim is from melissa francis and maya road...hope you enjoy and hop on over to see the amazing work the design team has put together at IAMC...

gift box....

This week at sugar creek hollow, the challenge is to create a gift box, bag or enclosure... Hmmm I happened to find the most beautiful handmade silver necklace at a craft show that i purchased for one of my daughters...she is deathly allergic to nickle and rarely wears jewelry but i could not pass this up...so i think this beautiful necklace requires a beautiful box...since maggie is definitely a blue kind of girl i decorated this in shades of aqua...i made the box from mme papers and just had fun embellishing...

masking...

Since i started working with magnolia stamps i have learned the fine craft of masking with rubber stamps!!! It's really quite simple, you simply stamp your image on a sheet of typewriter paper or post it note, cut out this image, stamp your original image, place the post it note image over your original and stamp your second stamp, when you remove the mask your second stamp will seamlessly blend into your stamped image...

this week at sugar creek hollow, the challenge is to either use 'masking or a stencil' on your card... i choose the mask!!!

It's a Magnolia Challenge....

I am so excited this is my first card as a member of the midway reminder design team at It's a Magnolia Challenge.... I cannot these talented artists picked me whooooo wee...so very excited...  This is a lovely tilda stamp that i recently received i just heart her... she is so filled with life... I of coarse choose some lovelly shades of pink for my pink christmas theme of cards this year!!! I just love the way pink looks at christmas.... i have a couple of small pink trees that i deck out in pink decorations for special little spots in my home.... i think these tildas would make nice decorations for one of those...but i really must send them out!!!! Angels....

There is something so magical and beautiful about angels....this week at vintage unfordring, the challeng is to add angels to your project...this card has not one but several vintage images of angels...i just love them... the papers are  from mme and authentique the tag is melissa francis and the images are from making memories...i hope you enjoy and are inspired to create something with the splendor of 'angels'...

distressing...

There is nothing i love more than distressing my projects....this week at sugar creek hollow, the challenge is to use 'distressing' in your card or project... my cards tend to be heavily distressed with inks and tearing papers!! this card takes distressing to a new level for me as i tried applying crackle finish over the entire image for a timeworn look!! hope you like this it was rather easy and i do like the finished effect...
