Hexagon challenge....

Hi everyone so happy to be back again with a new challenge at 7 kids college fund this week the challenge is to use 'hexagons' in your project...what a great idea as these are so popular now... My card is a shabby little card using a mix of ingredients... and as always I hope I inspire you to create something wonderful...

there are lots of goodies on this card, from my minds eye papers to melissa francis tag the bit of bling is vintage as well as the lace, the washi tape is my alltime favorite and everything is held together with helmar 450 quick dry adhesive...

Special Tilda stamp....

So happy to be here with a new card for IAMC, this week we are asking you create a project with a clock on it and a sweet magnolia stamp....I choose this special little stamp that came in my winter magazine...isn't she just precious... I tried coloring with a new little twist...I tried to make this like a watercolor without a border...I stamped my image with a soft pink instead of a darker color...I love the way this turned out and will be attempting this more often, it was a bit difficult because my ink was not permanent it was pigment ink a little more difficult to work with but fun none the less...

I love love love these papers from Pion Design...the little clock is a die from girls paperie(wish they had not gone out of business now authentique), the flowers from woc vintage lace and button, colored with tim holtz distress markers...

Fresh Vintage....

Hi everyone so happy to be here with my first blog hop post for 7kidscollegefund, we were asked to create a card using whimsy stamps, if you have never tried these you must check them out they are wonderful....my favorite designer is Elizabeth Bell her designs are wonderful so beautiful and whimsical... My card features the new line of papers from october afternoon's 'farmgirl' collection they are so fresh and new with that lovey retro feel OA always has... to join in the hop and win the awesome prize just hop back over to 7 kids and start hopping at the store blog...

lots of layers....

So excited to be back today with a challenge that's close to my heart....This week at sugar creek hollow the challenge is to use "lots of layers"...one of my favorite things to do...this is a shabby little card featuring papers by mme, washi tape melissa francis and shabby seam binding that i have hand dyed...

something old....something new....

Hi everyone so happy to be here with a new challenge at 7 kidscollege fund...The challenge this time is to use something old and something new...so I have used these wonderful new magnolia berries I just heart them and my old is the little image that I have had for years...I think she's from crafty secrets...

IAMC White card....

O my goodness it's time for another card at IAMC..., this time we are  making a white card with just the skin and hair to have color...I choose this amazing little tilda stamp: Ribbon Tilda...I first saw this on lillemoors blog and just had to have her...she is so simple and the string of hearts just makes my heart sing...

Tilda is stamped onto Strathmore watercolor paper, she is colored in with tim holtz distress markers in pumice stone, antique linen, lipstick pink and buff by stampin up... she is stamped with colorbox black pigment ink as are all the other stamped images and sentiments... the papers are from pion, i painted cardboard with tim holtz crackle paint in picket fence added some gauze and a glitz what not, the heart is a doohicky die by magnolia a the flowers are from woc and the seam binding is my own making the lace is antique.... hope you enjoy and hop on over to join in this fun challenge...

winter white...

Hi everyone...so happy to be back with another winter white themed project this week... at sugar creek hollow this week the challenge is 'winter white'... I decided to do something other than a card for this challenge, I choose a tag, since I love to read I use these as bookmarks...

I love the paper it's fromglitz design and the image inside the heart is melissa francis...there is a chip piece behind the heart that's painted with crackle paint a little lace some rick rack and my beloved paris stamp...
