Lime green and pink...

A happy hello this wednesday...I just cannot pass up the chance to use this great color combination...lime green and pink... i have wanted to work on this since i saw it at magnolia down under this week... i colored tilda in with a beautiful lime green (stampin up) and pink (stampin up markers)added some crackle glaze and stickles rock candy a little white acrylic for dimension and used some wonderful papers in lime and pink...my lime flower is from prima the rest are from woc...hope you enjoy what a great challenge...

IAMC color Map...

I wasn't sure what this meant at first a color map...but to my knowledge it means using one color plus white... so i choose my favorite color 'pink' this is my card... hope you enjoy....

Hats..shoes..purses...

hi everyone so happy to be here with a new challenge at sugar creek hollow this week, we are asked to create something in that wonderful vintage shabby chic style using 'hats, shoes or purses' what a great idea...there are so many vintage images with these items attatched...i picked a vintage hat from the melissa francis line of papers and chip pieces...i just love this image she is so vintage..fashion...I also have some wonderful stamps from graphic 45 my daughter gave for christmas and i have used these as well....

I've added a feather and some loved washi tape and a smidgen of crackle paint for some extra fun...hope to see all your amazing creations at sugar creek hollow this week...

Metal Mania....

Hi everyone so happy to be back with a new card for the challenge at sugar creek hollow this week we are asked to make a card or project using metal...one of my favorite embellies, there is nothing like a little metal to bling out your work from staples to charms the ideas are endless... I chose a wonderful metal corner that i painted white and distressed a bit, I also used staples for my frame corners i made...I wanted this to look like a chalk board...hope you enjoy and join in this great challenge...

I just love these pink envelopes from melissa francis and mu tag inside is stamped and watercolored (i forgot to take a pic of it)...

Happy Birthday...

Hi everyone so happy to be here with a card for the new challenge at 7kids challenge blog, this week the challenge is to create a Birthday card... I love birthday celebrations they truly are wonderful...so I decided to ink up a favorite stamp of mine 'birthday tilda' isn't she wonderful...I have added lots of vintage sweetness to this card with the lace and tulle, the handpainted chipboard is in two colors pink and white with crackle finish over the top... the flowers are from wild orchid crafts i love their flowers....the envelope is from basic grey along with the little heart cutout...the paper is from mme lost and found, the happy birthday stamp is an old one from hero arts... i hope you enjoy...

Tilda with big Ice cream...

Hi everyone so happy to be back with a sweet little Valentine for the 7kids college fund...This is the first time I have made a Tilda card in a smaller format, this is a small card with lots of shabby layers and goodness...I really enjoyed this small format and will probably try it in the future...I just love these papers they are a mix of crate paper and prima, there is my all time favorite washi tape a martha stewart doily, gauze magnolia doohickey die and lots of hand dyed seam binding...

IAMC add a wooden embellishment....

I know I gave a sneak peek of this card earlier as I am hoping it will help me grab a spot in the marvelous magnolia DT....I  want to talk a little about this card I just love this stamp the butterfly's are just sooo sweet and I tried to color a bit more simplistically...these papers from pion are just spectacular the shabbyest I have found..love love love them... added a bit of feathers for shabby effect and lots of layers...the spool on the bottom is wood.... hope you enjoy and hop on over to IAMC and join in the fun....

Feathers and Fur...

Hi everyone so happy to be back with the new challenge at sugar creek hollow this week, I just love birds so I chose 'feathers' for this challenge and I love crafty secrets vintage images so i picked one of theirs for this card...I used a new magnolia stamp to create the post card on the top of the image and the paper is one of my all time favoriets from pink paislee...their are actually birds on this vintage paper...love it...

Isn't this image lovely she has me dreaming of spring...

A very very long day for me yesturday as my mom had surgery for breast cancer at Albany Medical Center...hard to say that but I am so relieved that it is the first step in her journey and it seems to have gone according to plan and she is resting comfortably and can go home tomorrow!! today is actually sat feb 2 so I am praying for a good day and that the journey is not as bad as it seems...this little card helped to relieve a weeks worth of stress...

Romantic Love....

One of my favorite topics 'romantic love'... that's the challenge this week at sugar creek hollow..., I absolutely heart this theme... I choose to make a shabby little card featuring mme papers, crate paper embellies, washi tape, ric rack hand dyed seam binding and martha stewart glitter...my cardstock is also sprayed with a little OA sprinklers for a pink tint... hope you enjoy a little romantic love...

winter white...

Hi everyone so happy to be back with a new challenge at Vintage Unfordring... this time we are asked to create a card or project with a 'winter white' theme...this is one of my favorite themes and i just loved using a vintage image as my focal point.... hope you enjoy...

I really love how this card came together and the look and feel of all the elements and textures...the papers are mme, prima and melissa francis, i added chipboard that i painted with crackle paint in picket fence a doily a feather and a sweet image from crafty secrets... the seam binding is handdyed with glimmermist and a bit of glam is introduced with the vintage earring... 

I cannot wait to see all the amazing projects you come up with for this wonderful new challenge....
